It never fails that I sit down for dinner and though I haven’t seen a fly all day in the house, one appears from somewhere.  I get the flyswatter out and occasionally get it.  But, if he sneaks away, I definitely want to get him before I go to bed.  I already had a disgusting experience with maggots in my kitchen.

So I turn all the lights off, including the tv, and leave just the light on above my kitchen sink.  Usually within 5 minutes, the fly has come to the light and I have swatted It.
